HR Outsourcing Services
HR Outsourcing should not be a complicated process or a “one size fits all” program. QTS’ solution is designed to allow our clients to select from a suite of integrated services to minimize cost and maximize productivity.
The core component of outsourcing your HR Department is a comprehensive review of existing policies and procedures. Upon completion of this review, QTS will produce an “audit report” that identifies any deficiencies that we need to address. This process ensures that your company has a solid and compliant HR foundation from which QTS will be operating.
Although we generally recommend that clients take advantage of all HR Services, there is an opportunity to reduce the scope and cost of your HR outsourcing service. This enables you to decide exactly what you want to remain involved in and how you allocate your HR budget.
The base package of HR Services include:
HR Policy and Procedure Review A comprehensive on-site review of all current HR policies and procedures is conducted by an experienced HR Consultant. Upon completion of the review you will receive a written evaluation of your HR strengths and opportunities.
Remote HR Consulting Support Our experienced HR professionals provide your management team with daily phone and e-mail support for any HR questions or concerns.
Custom HR Documentation QTS can create a new custom Employee Handbook or review and update your existing handbook for compliance. The handbook is then reviewed and updated on an annual basis. QTS can also provide custom Performance Appraisals, Job Descriptions, Applications, etc. New Employee Screening Services QTS provides your hiring managers the tools they need to efficiently prevent hiring disasters. Services include Background Screening, Drug Testing, Previous Employer Verification, and SSN Verifications.
Employee Self Service Portal This custom portal can become your associates “one stop shop” for all of their HR and payroll needs. Employees will have access to their current and historical pay detail, accrual balances, demographics, and links to downloadable documents such as your Employee Handbook, Benefit Enrollment Forms, W-4, etc.
Optional HR Solutions
Applicant Screening and New Hire Processing Upon completion of applicant processing and screening, QTS will initiate the employment offer correspondence. Upon acceptance of an employment offer, QTS processes all legally required paperwork, conducts the New Employee Orientation according to your company specifications, and creates the employee’s HR file. All new associates will arrive to your office informed and ready to work.
Benefit Enrollment Coordination Significant advantages can be gained by selecting one of QTS’ recommended Benefits Brokers. Services include conducting enrollment meetings, processing enrollment paperwork, setting up payroll deductions, and coordinating changes between the benefit provider, COBRA and Flex Administrator. Benefit plan sponsors with over 100 participants may be eligible for a custom web enabled benefits enrollment site.
COBRA Administration QTS provides complete coordination from hire to termination. Services include new hire notification, eligibility notification, premium collection and payment processing, record keeping, and termination notification.
Employee Termination Processing Upon request, QTS will notify the employee, prepare the termination letter, deliver their final check, and conduct an Exit Interview.
Flex Benefit Plan Administration Plan options include Premium Only and Section 125 with or without debit cards.
Onsite HR Consulting and Training Services We can provide basic to advanced associate training through onsite workshops and webinars. Standard workshops include Sexual Harassment Awareness, Workplace Violence Prevention, Safety and OSHA Compliance. Custom training programs may also be developed on request or as a result of our initial evaluation.
Random Drug Screening Program This quarterly program is completely administered by QTS and covers employee selection and notification, on site testing, and test results summary for management. This service may not be available in all states.
Unemployment Claims and Tax Management Comprehensive support includes initial tax rate validation, annual claims audit and rate determination verification, rate reduction opportunity identification, claims review, and claims hearing representation.
