Genetic Information Nondiscrimination ACT
GINA was signed by the President on May 21, 2008 making the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination ACT (GINA) a new compliance law. The act requires an employer to post notices by November 21, 2009 describing the Federal laws prohibiting job discrimination based on race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, equal pay, disability and genetic information.
